Rockwall FKT North to South.
Inspired by Ailsa MacDonald's speedy recent time.
Started very wet in the morning but when I began my run the clouds left and it began to get quite pleasant. First 15km were a complete mud fest as I was trying to skirt all the standing water in the middle of the trail.
I knew the altitude would be a factor today and it sure was as I'm a sea level dweller. When it got to 2000m plus I really stared to feel it. Around 30km I had to fight off the demons to stop running and hike it in. It ended up being this way for the rest of the run. Tried to rally a bit in the last 10km but I was really exhausted collapsing at Floe Lake trail head to complete a successful effort.
Didn't have any splits to go by so just tried to keep moving and take it in. Water fill ups in streams.
