Mendy Gallo and I [Mike Siudy] hiked/ran the 24 mile traverse in 9:47 with highly variable snow conditions. As with all winter activities, conditions are everything. We barefooted and micro-spiked the while way but would have appreciated snowshoes, skis, crampons, and/or muck boots in spots. The skies were blue, warm, and windless. Managed to only use headlands for the last 45 minutes. This is possibly a winter FKT mainly because no one really does the whole thing in winter, not because we went very fast. We only ran maybe 4 miles of it. Just wanted to put this out there as a benchmark.
