This route starts at the Pirate’s Bight sign on Norman Islands.  Head out of the restaurant area and up the road, when the road spilts go straight up the mountain. If you go right it is a mistake. I did that the first time and it was a bust. I went back to the Pirate’s Bight sign and started over. So go up the hill, at the top go left and follow the double track around the island to Money Bay, there is another spilt stay right and at the beach, as you come down from the ridge you will see a decorated tree, it has shoes and shells on it. Touch it. Then head back up to the ridge and back the way you came. The climb is steep but not terrible and the trail turns from single track to jeep track. Go back along the ridge till where you came up from Pirate’s Bight and head straight along the ridge staying right. You will be on this for a while. Great views in both directions. Take this to the other side of the islands and turn back when you get to the rock Carin/dead end. Them go back to the junction where you came up from the Pirate’s Bight sign. Bomb down the hill to the Pirate’s Bight sign, touch it and you are done. Good luck it is a fun one. I would suggest starting early. It can get hot and it is beautiful for sunrise.
