Tour du Lac d'Annecy on the Voie Verte done today 23/03/2024.
It was a mignific day running close to the lake and sourranded by the Alps. The weather was not perfect. It was windy and the front wind was right in the last part.
The path is mostly flat. The only difficulties are in the very first part, but none of those climbs is longer than a couple of kilometers. The slope is always runnable.
I was completelly unsupported. I had a camel-bag with the 1 litre water and it was sufficient for my run. Along the Voie Verte I actually didn't see any fountains. Anyway, I saw some toilets where to get some water. I also had some gels and bars to refill. I didn't need to resupply with food. Anyway, in the second part, there are some bar/restaurants where to re-fill, in the case.
Last tip: prefer road shoes rather than trail shoes.
