I completed this FKT on July 3, 2026. In my view, this is one of the best long routes in the Okanagan, taking you from the valley to the highest point in the Kelowna area. It was hot and I ran into trouble late with dehydration and overheating. There is a creek at 14k on the way up that you will hit both ways. I carried 2.5L of water and planned to filter 1L on the way back. In hindsight, I should have drank more and filtered on both ascent and descent. The trail becomes slower and more technical once you leave the KVR and start approaching Little White for around 9km. I slowed down significantly on this section of the trail on both the ascent and descent.
I completed the ascent in 2:59:57, a few minutes over target and completed full route in 5:13:05.
Have fun and plan well for hydration.
