I had planned to run an out and back starting from the Davidson River Campground. It was extremely humid from the start. The climbing, heat, and humidity started to really get to me around mile 14 going up to Pilot Mountain. I decided at that point that I would be stopping at the Daniel Boone Scout Camp. I was really happy with my decision, as I did not have enough electrolytes and started cramping pretty badly toward the end. I will reattempt at a later date. I ran solo and unsupported the one way. I carried everything I used for the run.
