Start at Paradise Ranger Station within Mount Rainier National Park. Ascend the Disappointment Clever route to the summit of Mount Rainier. Descend the Emmons route to the White River Campground. Run clockwise on the Wonderland Trail from the White River Campground back to the Paradise Ranger Station. Ascend the Disappointment Clever route to the summit of Mount Rainier for a second time. Descend the Emmons route to the White River Campground. Run counter-clockwise on the Wonderland Trail from the White River Campground back to the Paradise Ranger Station. Complete.

Sarah and I took screen shots of our iPhones when we started and ended this objective. It concluded that we completed this objective in 97 hours 31 minutes. The GPX file and Inreach Delorme has a start and end time which shows a total completion time of 97 hours 36 minutes. We have lots of photos of this experience. Many of these are available under the three trip report/blog write up links provided. We can provide these to this website as well if needed but figured that it may be more efficient for these to be viewed on the other webpages.

We followed Buzz Burrell's 3 "common sense" guidelines. We communicated with Ras Vaughan & Gavin Woody before we attempted and completed this objective. We stated our intentions publicly through our first blog write up on our website www.upwardtheory.com and provided the Inreach Delorme map share link for anyone to follow along. We documented our completion with photos and a second write up on our personal website. Sarah then completed a trip report write up for Rab Equipment which they posted on their international site.

Additionally, we followed Chad Kellogg's original vision using the Disappointment Clever route of Mount Rainier as the ascent route and the Emmons route for the descent. It was important to us to do this out of respect to Chad and the first team to complete it (Ras & Gavin).

We believe that we were "self-supported" such that we did rely on cached supplies at our vehicle at the Paradise Ranger Station and at the White River Campground. we did not utilize any stores, restaurants, or other individuals along the way.
