Started at 11.42 carrying food and water for the whole route.
The route is really pleasant apart from the section through Rochdale and Failsworth where there is a lot off litter in the water and the surrounding banks.
Weather was sunny but cool.
Finished in 4hrs 27mins 48secs.
Navigation was largely straight forward but I did get confused a bit where the canal goes under the motorway for the second time.
