FKT: Nathaniel Bonner - Mt Marcy (NY) - 2023-09-26

Hi! The run was fantastic, I got off trail for just a few minutes and had to back track a tiny bit. The weather was incredible for late September. Summit was hazy but no snow or clouds on top! Very wet up by the tree line. I stopped and talked to a few people when they asked about Summit conditions but kept it brief. I even grabbed 2 small peices of trash off the trail. I carried my emergency winter gear the whole time. Used a gossemer day pack, had winter clothes and micro spikes that I didn't need. The speed run of my life!!!!!
