Hi team,
I took on the Bracknell Forest Ramblers route. I was hoping to do it in four hours, but as you can see from the photos there was quite a bit of flooding. I was actually up to my knees at one point. I carried a backpack with a few items and water (no support or resupply) but next time I'll try it lighter--just gels in a pouch. The route is a mixture of footpaths through the country and sidewalks alongside roads, so it's a mix. Light hills. Pleasant in a "middle of a crowded little island" kind of way. It was my longest run in 12 months so I was definitely feeling it by the end.
There were a few small deviations from the route; mostly these were to skip parts where the original trailbreaker went the wrong way and had to double back, but in one case it was because I took the wrong path, although that added to the length. My total distance was slightly longer than the original I think.
