I came up with this route a few months ago, as it logically traverses the High Peaks Wilderness in the most direct/precise fashion, west to east. This was a casual "adventure" run/hike effort. My stomach/appetite was not cooperating and it was hard to get calories in. I filtered water a few times and was able to take down a few gels. The scenery and solitude was unreal, as I didn't see another human until I was 4h deep. I hope others find this route inspiring and adventurous. I'll probably run it again next year.
