great day for a Tiger run! sunny and mostly dry and cleared trail. got a late start at 9:52am and lots of hikers and runners were out on the trail. went off route once (brain was on autopilot to summit WT2) and quickly retraced my steps. did this supported by my husband, who stashed bottles and snacks for me at the TMT trailhead (thanks Erik!!đź’ž) made it to the halfway turn around in 2 hours 22 minutes and back to high point trailhead in 4 hours 57 minutes 50 seconds total time. didn’t have a time goal for today so was stoked to get under 5 hours. i followed Kristina Randrup’s tracks and had the route downloaded, but the TMT is so well marked and taken care of it was easy peasy to follow. hope whoever goes after this next enjoys the trail and doesn’t underestimate the middle section like i did!!Â
