Samantha Homan (she/her) and Nicole Fyvie (they/she) completed a single traverse of the Belknap Range on April 29th 2023. We began at Rowe via the steep Rowe's Revenge approach. We followed the Ridge Trail to Gunstock, where we connected the Saddle Trail to Blue to summit Belknap before the out and back to Piper and Whiteface. As we neared the Round Pond/Piper Link, the skies opened up, and we stopped to cover our packs and put on our rain gear. We stopped to filter water at Round Pond before climbing to Mack. From there, we followed Red to pick up Klem and White for Rand and West Quarry. Marsh Crossing took us to the Belknap Range Trail, and we summited Anna, Straightback, and finally Major, just as dusk began to settle. Descending the Main Trail from Major proved to be slow going in the dark, and we reached the parking lot in just over 11 and a half hours total time.
