I started at Chambers Park on 9-13-24 at 7:46 am.
I carried my own food and planned a refill of water at Spirit Mountain approximately 11.5 miles in. The day was cool, but very humid, so I knew water could be an issue.
I started this route with the intent of establishing a West to east FKT, which hasn't been done yet.
Once I got to spirit mountain, I refilled water.
The next stop was Enger Park another 10+ miles where I also refilled liquid calories and water from a pre-arranged stop.
At this point the humidity was also a blue bird sky and that last section was just a steady climb.
Next planned water stop was at Hartley Nature Center. I refilled water, drank, ate. Sat for a hot minute in the shade.
Hawks ridge is probably the most technical park of the trail while descending, then a beautiful buttery section into Lester Park where I finished in 9:13:29. Excited to go back and cut some time off in the future.
