On Tuesday, June 13, 2017, I arrived in Marjayoun, Lebanon at 11:55pm to become the second person to complete a thru-run of the main path of the Lebanon Mountain Trail by covering 452km and over 22k meters of ascent. Having started my run in the northern village of Andqet at 6:30 am on June 7th, my total traverse time was 6 days 17 hours and 25 minutes.
The previous only known thru-runner, Avedis Kalpaklian, hadn't reported his 2 thru-run FKT's on this website (10 days in Dec 2015 and more recently 8 days 14 hours in 0ct 2016). Avedis' runs, while not reported here, were widely publicized in Lebanon and he is universally recognized as the only person to have run the LMT before me.
My run was supported by Avedis as well as 2 or more crew at all times including multiple pacers.
