A great little local trail with a variety of terrain to include beach, woodland, farmland, compact gravel and path; it keeps changing so you never get bored! Although it hasn't rained recently the trail was really muddy in places which I can imagine would completely dry out even in summer enough to wear road shoes.
The river Hamble and Queen Victoria Country Park are highlights of the route and are also the busier areas with lots of walkers and dog owners.
The GPX file is accurate and starts at Lovers Lance in Botley which has nearby parking.
I carried my own supplies, although only needed tailwind for this 15 miler.
