Set off early on Friday morning, and got starting around 5:30am. Weather started off humid, but cool to begin with, made a few mistakes at the beginning with some wrong turns and finally got into a rhythm with the running and had a few rain showers which I was hoping would clear the air but this never seemed to happen. As the day went on the hotter, and more humid it got. The humidity really zaps the energy out of you, and find I spend a lot of time working on cooling down which would mean more walk breaks to help, and then finished the local streams and cooling off in them, and also topping up water supplies using the water filter I have.  During this attempt my phone battery died, had to switch to my backup phone and switched in the SIM card while in the dark using my head lamp which was slowly fading (I know I packed spare batteries for it.....) When I got home I then found them! The run took a bit longer than I had expected, but overall it was a great run with lots of challenges along the way which just adds the experience and how you adapt, and over come the challenges. No one ran with me during this run, and made two stops at local gas stations to get supplies to keep me going through this event as with the humidity had to use much more fluids than I was expecting. For water I used the local streams so I get a chance to use my filter system which works really well.
