I ran the GR® DE PAYS TOUR DES DENTELLES DE MONTMIRAIL (France) early 2023 whilst there was still snow on the Mont Ventoux starting and finishing in Le Barroux. Sunny weather in the morning giving way to light rain for the last 3 hours. The trail is well marked and variable from quiet roads to technical single track. The total +/- m climb is high but the route is continously up and down with very few long climbs.
I ran with a light 10 L pack for the day. Being cool weather water was not an issue.
The scenery is amazing with the vineyards, the Ventoux, castles, beautiful villages, castles and churches all you could wish for in this part of France.
