Did this route as an extra “fun run” after the complete trail around the Sassolungo group. The climb to the Demetz hütte is really nice and not technical. The descent can be a bit more tricky here and there but is spectacular as it takes you through the big arena between the Sassolungo and Punta Grohmann. The gpx originally added to this FKT contains a path after Rif Vicenza that no longer exists so watch out. Just follow the highest possible path close to Sassolungo and you will get back on track. The high path to rif Comicci is fantastic taking you close to the rock walls on a nice single trail. After that it’s a short climb back to the start.
As mentioned in my other report : go early or pick a quiet day as this is a popular day hike.
