Did this route for my birthday last year, so figured why not do it again this year!
Pretty blustery for the first 10-12 miles, but after that fantastic (albeit cool) temperatures throughout the rest of the day. Not too much snow to deal with, just some on the Rae Lakes side of Glen Pass. Froze my butt off on the final descent from Kearsarge when temps dropped to the 40s!! Big difference from last year, when it was in the upper 80s!
Lovely and challenging route (those last 15 miles are death), good water sources throughout, nothing too particularly impressive as far as time goes, but got dibs for now at least : )
