I just moved to LA, and with my license for work pending, why not take a stab at a couple local FKTs?
Gorgeous loop, about 60% forest service roads, which means you can go fast(ish...), even if it's uphill. Saw like 2 people all day. I'll have to come back here more to check out this Backbone Trail everyone keeps talking about... crossed over it a couple times.
