This trail did not disappoint: fast, rolling hills, well maintained & scenic. Some sections were still obscured under thick layer of recently fallen leaves, which made following the trail a bit tough with sparse yellow blazes. Remaining sections were clear. We even met a volunteer with leaf blower cleaning the trail.
There are no services on the trail. Several sources to filter water from. My water reservoir was leaking—ran out of water with 10km to go. Almost stopped to filter water, but we managed with what we have.
Started with cold temperature at -4ºC that quickly warmed up with the sun. Average for the day 9ºC was perfect for running through these hills.
Missed a turn early on the trail. Bushwhacked our way back & stayed on the trail since. Cost us 18 minutes 👎
