The idea of establishing a time reference to go up and down the Aspe peak from Candanchú was born by Mateo and Lucas Sáez, the Candanchú brothers, with the intention of promoting the beautiful valley of Aragon and its infinite possibilities both sports and tourism.
First of all, we organized a raffle for an Aspe flower cheese and an experience in the snow for two for those who were closest to the weather. They passed on the idea to me and from there we have done everything possible to do it just before the first snows.
So there was no choice but to launch yesterday: Last Thursday, September 25, we got down to work. At 8:45 AM I left from the large track car park in Candanchú, to try to ascend and descend the great stone giant of 2645m in height in the shortest possible time.
