FKT: Raymond Reynoso - Springwater Corridor (OR) - 2026-10-06

Perfect October conditions. Overcast to start, clearing up to Sunny. Clear sky at night, a little chilly. There is a closure just after the beginning of the trail currently.  The detour routes on the road and adds just under a half mile round trip. It's medium scenic, but pretty good for an urban trail. They did a sweep last month and removed the homeless camps. So safety went up a notch. They are starting to move back in now. I passed through 2 encampments at night without any trouble. I did pass by 3 unresponsive people laying across the trail and many discarded needles along or on the path from Western Gresham to Portland. Walking the water front at dusk was definitely a highlight.
