Drove to where my boyfriend and I rode our bikes to two days before since I really wanted to go to the top top! Settled into a good climbing pace under control, ran most of the way up until the final mile. Fueled with energy gels, took a few pictures at the summit, and ran down. Took the technical sections fairly conservatively, then opened up the stride on the fire road. Temperatures were perfect, although the top was rather windy, but a great respite from the heat!
