Route started and finished at Selling Station. This was a solo unsupported effort, carrying all required fuel and water with me throughout. Beautiful sunny spring Bank Holiday so thought I'd go for a long run! Hadn't tried any of this route before, so big thank you to Lee Butters for setting the route. Beautiful rolling woodland with plenty of little stream crossings and lots of wildlife along the way. Saw several deer, buzzards and hundreds of crazy squirrels.
Although the route wasn't too muddy this time of year, the mud had dried very gnarly in many places with deep hoof and footprints. There was however lots of fallen trees blocking the route which took a bit of jumping or ducking under in various places, particularly in the first 2-5 miles.
Views from the top of Victory Wood were very clear stretching across North Kent and towards the Isle of Sheppey.
Great day out !
