This trail is most definitely under utilized. I do a lot of hill training on it and seldom see another soul. Hopefully now that there is an FKT attached to it more folks put in some miles along the highways. It was a very windy and wet day but I most definitely enjoyed myself once again.
There are several connecting trails once you get to Marshalltown for anyone wanting to get in some extra miles.
