FKT: Ryan Burke - Chiltern Link (United Kingdom) - 2021-07-17

Loved this route so much that I had to come make another attempt when it was taken from me. About a 2km stretch is now completely congested with nettles and blackberry bushes that take chunks out of your arms. I was able to take back the one-way FKT (56:22) but had a struggle bus moment on the way back in the heat, even though it was fairly late in the day, so missed the overall time. Kudos to Paul Fernandez for that cracking time! I recovered on the way back.. something about the solitude and sudden coolness of those forest patches energised me after the sun set, and I was really on one at the finish, making it an overall good workout!
