This was my first FKT attempt ever. Very last minute decision on a cloudy, rainy Sunday. The day before this I cycled 112 miles, so I started the route with doubts that my legs were up to it. At the turn around point I was 30 seconds behind the current FKT. Closed hard in the driving rain to secure it by three minutes.
