I don't know why, but the fact that the previous FKT was SUPER conditions dependant didn't sit well with me. So, I went out this morning, in average conditions and went for it. Trail was pretty muddy between Cascade and Porter. I knew the downhill time was insane, so I'd have to get way ahead on the uphill. Got to the summit of Cascade in 28:00. Then summit of porter in 37:30. This was 6 minutes ahead of record time. Luckily, I only lost 4 minutes on the downhill. Fun, fast route. enjoy!
