great day, trail was a little snowy above 4,000ft and in the col between RPR and Giant. Fairly cool with a 30mph headwind which kept things nice! I ran the trail in the "uphill, harder" direction. I did it this way because I think the route makes more sense like this. Its certainly harder! It also includes the longest continuous climb in the Adirondacks which climbs 3,750 from the road to the summit of RPR. It is also a beautiful climb, which is better enjoyed at a slower (uphill) speed.
I propose that this FKT be done in this direction going forward!
