FKT: Ryan Meulemans - S.C.A.R. (TN, NC) - 2020-06-13

Started double SCAR from the south end of Fontana Dam at 6 am on Thursday June 11th. Going north to Davenport Gap I rested for a few hours at TriCorner shelter before hitting Davenport Gap at about 9:30 am on Friday June 12th and then working my way back to Clingmans Dome, resting for about an hour around midnight then stating the final push back to Fontana at 1am. I finished in 53hrs and 45 min at 11:45am on Saturday June 13th. 

Note: for some reason my gps watch went haywire on the way out showing me off trail and at a high point of 8,000 ft (which does not exist in Tennessee) for a brief time. This had no effect on total time and actually didn’t effect the recorded distance by more than a mile or two.
