Second time running this FKT and this time choosing trail shoes made the mud a lot easier. The signposts are pretty awful so I would recommend using a GPS watch to navigate. There are numerous gates to open but the route is pancake flat. It gives you a very varied view of Hertfordshire and North London. Fuelled by 2 tribe bars, 1 gu gel and 1 litre of tailwind. Slowed down at the end when I ran out of water - nowhere en route to refill.
