What a trail. Unfolds like a good story as you traverse the ridge from one viewpoint to the next. Incredible views the entire way. Billy goats, fall colors, distant lakes, and really runnable most of the way, the Elkhorn Crest has it all.
Just squeaked this one in! Had it in my head on the trail I was chasing 4:57. Imagine my surprise when I get back to internet service and see it was really 4:37 and that I only squeaked in by about 21 seconds, not the 20 minutes I was expecting!
