A cool, overcast spring day preceded by a few nights without rain led for some excellent trail conditions! I think the trail was maintained recently as well. I went counterclockwise this time, frontloading the most technical terrain, but I'm still not sure which way is faster as that approach left me with very little in the tank for the relatively flat mile and the final mile, which features significant but more gradual elevation.
