FKT: Sam Trioli - Capital Crescent Trail (DC, MD) - 2024-03-25

I attempted to set the new fastest time on the Capital Crescent Trail running from Bethesda, MD to Washington, D.C. and ending in Georgetown. Overall the run was a success, averaging about a 6:45 minute pace. No one ran with me on this trip, or supported me. Thankfully it was a quick enough trip that I didn't bring any water or food, and just hydrated heavily before starting the run and ate about a half hour before hand. Overall the path wasn't too crowded, and the temps were ideal (around 52 degrees and sunny). All in all it's a great sprint and a really fun FKT to have around the DC area. I'm sure others will come to claim this soon :)
