What an amazing day out on Mount Marcy! Conditions were definitely not the best, but I managed to keep the feet moving and was psyched about this FKT. Overall, a lot of time is still on the table. The ice, snow and super wet trail did not help with speed, but any day out on the little mountain is a good day in my opinion. I definitely want to come back and go for the outright FKT and use it as a great excuse to get back to the Adirondack’s!
