I nice little unsupported attempt at this new route within Washington, DC. Overall, I felt it was strong attempt, though at one of the road crossings traffic made me stop for at least 30 seconds. That's one of the fun parts of this route though is that there are a few areas (like roads or intersections) that are out of your control. For the most part though it was a really steady run, without any need for stopping for water or refueling. In the last two-ish miles I probably could have pushed it a little harder, but the majority of my focus was on the trail running aspect since for the most part, 6 miles is all up and down on dirt path or slightly rocky terrain. All in all it's a great route to have within D.C. and a great way to get a little bit of vert training in if you're in the area!
