I live locally in Pembrokeshire so very familiar with this section. I did it self support. I got my dad to drop me off and my partner to pick me up.

I carried 2ls of water and all my food. Plus extra clothing in case of an emergency.

There was a testing and cold headwind for the first 15 miles, but it got a bit easier after Newgale. Probably helped that the worst of the hills were done by that point.

Coast path was pretty quiet until Nolton Haven. Then I seen a lot of people out for their Sunday walks and surfing.

Ground conditions weren't too bad for the time of year, the wind has definitely helped dry the path. There were pockets of mud, and some parts of the path were well trodden near St Brides.

There has been a few changes along the route since I did it in 2021 due to erosion, but they are well marked and the old paths are no longer accessible.

One day I will choose to do this route in the summer with a breeze rather than a headwind!
