I started training on these trails this past spring of 2022 for higher elevation & more technical trail training (at least for what this area of Wisconsin can offer) for some ultramarathon events I planned to do over summer. After plenty of missed turns and all that I finally learned all of them. I personally prefer to connect them all by starting at the orange & brown loop, then go to red, black, and finish on green/blue so I can run the more technical stuff right away on fresh legs. This day I ran it solo unsupported and just doing 1 of each main trail, all I carried was a handheld water bottle.
