South Sister Ascent effort. Ran from the new (2024) trailhead which is 6.1mi to the top, vs the old (pre 2024) trailhead from the road which is 5.7mi. Worth noting these differences as it adds distance to the route that was considered the standard FKT previously. Regardless, was a beautiful day, sunny, low winds. Ran an even effort from start to finish. Parking lot to summit 1:37. Junction to top, 1:33.05.
FKT site may want to consider the junction to top as the standard route, to consider all efforts done on this route.
