We parked at Pennington Road carpark (free) in Southborough which is approx 100m away from the course so picked it up from there. We did the route in February, and it was extremely muddy but still fun! Followed the GPX file on my watch but there was a section where the waymark signs pointed in a completely different direction so we just followed the signs but it turned out to be a "link route" into Tunbridge Wells, so we had to back track to get back on course, which added an extra 1/2 mile. It would have been quite hard to follow on just markers alone, so GPX is a must. Stopped at Groombridge cornershop to refill water, there was a tap at Birchden Wood carpark 20 miles in but the water tasted horrible. All in all a great day out, would recommend doing in the summer though, could easily knock an hour or more off this time in drier more runnable conditions!
