Hello from Nepal - Early this morning, we did the unthinkable. Myself, Ryan Wagner and Uprendra Sunawar, completed the round trip journey from Kathmandu to Mt Everest Base Camp and back to Kathmandu in 9 days, 23 hours, 21 minutes.
In addition, we would like to claim The one way record from Kathmandu to Everest Base Camp in in 5 days, 10 hours and 46 minutes.
Lizzy Hawker holds the one way record from EBC to Kathmandu but due to the significant differences in elevation gains and altitude we think these should be completely separate FKT’s.
