Tackled this one on a Saturday morning, couldn’t have had better weather for this after all the heat and fires recently. Started at 9am from the temescal trailhead and other than a few stops for hikers on singletrack it was smooth sailing all the way through to caballero where I met up with my girlfriend to do the run back with me. Had half a protein bar there I had brought and started back. Pushed through some tightness with a few miles to go and bombed down the last hill to the finish. Carried my Osprey water pack with tailwind for hydration the whole way with no refilling. All in all it was a hard fast run and I’m happy with the time I put down. Go dodgers!
