Started off from Gulaba. From a spot called 14 mode where the trail starts. There is no civilization along the way, so carried every thing from start to finish. Totally unsupported.
Up the treeline along well marked trails. The slippery part ends once you reach the grasslands. Gradual climb till Rawli kholi camp site. Drank water from streams on the way.
Wade across the main stream at Rawli kholi. The gradient gets steep here on. Climb up plenty of rocks upto the morraine section. As you pass ice patches, the colourful prayer flags are visible. That's the Col.
Pass by a flattish section until the lake is visible. Brighu lake has green water (frozen in winter). This is a holy place for Hindus. Offered prayers and took a dip in the water.
Returned back via same route.
Although totally unsupported, another person met me on the way and ran the same route. Hence marking this as supported.
Well done @Hira Thakur https://www.strava.com/activities/3862207747
