Starting out at Neil Hawkins Park an easy jog until I hit the start of the offroad trail at burns beach road. Lots of kangaroo and wildflowers out made for an enjoyable climb in the bush. Black carnaby cockatoos making a lot of noise as they dismantled the trees to the side of the trail. The trail is fairly open and can get hot but flows nicely through the regional and national parks.
Entering Yanchep national park and the terrain changes quickly with taller trees, more wildlife and some steep trails off to the side of this track. Well worth revisiting!
Keep an eye out for snakes.
