Weather: sunny and warm, about 26 degrees
Trail: good shape, except for a “2km part” just before entering Neustadt. There the trail is a horse trail with a challenging ground. All in all, the trail was much better than expected: woods with nice small rivers. Very relaxing.
Fun factor: You will find great places for a coffee or alcohol-free beer direct at the start and at the finish line. Speyer and Neustadt are both great cities to visit.
Special: I was running the trail in 2014 and had a much better impression now than 9 years ago.
