An enjoyable day out. We ran the moorland section with our dogs, which were handed over to partners at Yelverton and the Dartmoor Diner as their work schedule dictated. We followed the route into an enclosed scrubland at Manadon, I don't know what happened there but after stomping around in the undergrowth for a while and establishing that there was no way through, we returned to the gap in the fence we'd entered by and carried on along the pavement.
I had to make an early detour in pursuit of my recalcitrant dog, that's why I ran a bit further.
