This route has a little bit of everything trails with plenty of roots and rocks some single track and a little stretch gravel road. The first mile is a 750ft climb then after that is mostly rolling hills with a nice 1.4mile technical and rocky downhill at the end. I started at 10:30am and the temp was in the mid 20s with lots of headwind and the sun in my eye for most of the run. Parts of the trail was wet and muddy from the warmer temps from the day before. But with the over night temps dropped to the 20s there was lots of icy spots (which made for a few falls). The trail can be tricky to follow at points.
