Fun route link-up of Copper Mound, Mount McLeod, Finch Ridge, Tenquille Mountain, and Goat Peak in sequence. Stout climb starting from the Tenquille Lake Historic Trailhead, mostly runable. Easy terrain ascent up Copper and McLeod, with the usual loose scree guarding the top 50-100m of each. Runnable around the lake. The highlight of the route was the east ridge of Tenquille, an excellent stretch of sustained class 3 scrambling. Sections of runnable ridge between Tenquille and Goat. The descent off Goat Peak was the least established, starting with easy scrambling down broken rock and scree, heather and grassy slopes, and finally some bushwhacking to merge into the Branch 12 trail. From there a straightforward, albeit knee-punishing, descent to take you down the trail back to the Tenquille Lake Historic Trailhead.
